These are the writing prompts I will be posting in the upcoming week if you’d like to set them up and do them along with me. I have a paper calendar sitting on my desk with the morning’s prompt listed as the first item of the day in case you are wondering. Each morning I open the calendar, set the timer and do my fifteen minutes and then post it before I can worry about it being no good. Being good isn’t the point of writing prompts after all. So, for those who don’t want your prompt writing to be influenced by what comes out of my brain, I have posted the upcoming prompts below.
Monday, October 12th: They were bewildered by what they heard.
Tuesday, October 13th: All these possibilities hinged on one thing.
Wednesday, October 14th: By the time their letters reached the destination, their information was outdated.
Thursday, October 15th: Despite previous encouragement, now he asked them to cease and desist.
Friday, October 16th: It was the frank assessment of their strength and a cynical assessment of their aims.
I look forward to seeing where these prompts take me next week. And if you’d like to share where they took you, feel free to post in the comments.
