Morning everyone and once again welcome to Friday. Another week has slipped by and 2020 is that much closer to being complete. I know many who feel rushed at year’s end as projects struggle towards completion before holiday vacation and I know quite a few who will be very happy to see this year come to a close. One we get to the mid point of the month it always feels like the days start to evaporate suddenly landing me at the end of the month wondering how I got there. And of course next week is mid month. So much to do before January. But that is a topic for another time. Today you have come looking for the writing prompts for the following week.
I will list them below and as always, next week I will write on them each in their turn. You are welcome to do them in the same order, shake them around into a different one, pick and choose or even substitute your own.while everyone does as many or as few as they like, personally I like doing one each day because it means I have to write something no matter if i feel like sitting down to write or not. Some days I just don’t feel like it. Other days I feel like doing nothing else but writing.
I generally find that my mood affects my writing and that I often get different things when I write on days that started with me not wanting to bother. Which can actually be a very good thing.
So to the upcoming prompts, Batman, er loyal readers!
Monday, December 14th: That was the day he rolled into town.
Tuesday, December 15th: It was a shocking miscalculation.
Wednesday, December 16th: “I dabble,” he confessed.
Thursday, December 17th: He seemed singularly disinterested.
Friday, December 18th: “What would you do in my place?”
Okay that seems like it is going to be an interesting mix of starters. And now that i have seen them,. I am going to shake my brain like an etch-a-sketch and forgetherm until they each show up in their turn. I will see you back here Monday with the first of the week’s writing prompts. Until then, have a fabulous Friday and an excellent weekend.
