Good morning all. We have finished yet another week of writing prompts. How did you do with this past week? I ended up with a couple that might have the germ of a story in them which is kind of nice to see. One of them I even had a hard time stopping when the timer dinged, which is especially nice to see. And while I will return to them at some point, at the moment it is time to look forward instead of back. It is time for the prompts for the upcoming week. As always they are in the order I intend to write them. You can write them along with me, shake up the order to suit yourself, and of course do as few or as many as you like. But whatever you choose to do with them, here is next week’s list.
Monday, June 14th: The pipes rattled ominously.
Tuesday, June 15th: He placed each of the candles carefully into the top of the cake.
Wednesday, June 16th: Every day for a week, he parked in the same spot, waited an hour and then drove off.
Thursday, June 17th: I thought we were going to talk about aliens.
Friday, June 18th: It helps others gain an understanding of our systems.
It looks like there are some good ones this week. I can hardly wait. But wait I shall. And at this moment I am going to turn my back on them and hopefully forget the prompts until it is time to actually write for them.
