And so another week comes to a close. This week’s prompts were all over the place for me. There were one or two that looked like they might be interesting to pursue into stories and others that really didn’t grab my attention once they were written out. But even if one can be spun out into a story I am happy. I got in my morning fifteen each day and woke my brain up, even when it wanted to go back to sleep. And with the gray overcast skies and rain much of the week, there was a lot of wanting to curl up and go back to sleep. The stuffy nose didn’t help. So I’m actually rather proud of myself for sticking with it each morning regardless. I hope you managed to stick with whatever plan you came up with.

Monday, August 23rd: He made a name for himself among their number.
Tuesday, August 24th: The legend was enticing.
Wednesday, August 25th: Their friendship had a deeply practical dimension.
Thursday, August 26th: She spun around.
Friday, August 27th: He was resolved.
Some of those look quite interesting actually. Although I am going to try not to think about them too hard. Or at all really. I want to come to them fresh next week so I’m going to forget all about them now that they have been listed out. So prompts forgotten, it is time to get on with Friday. I hope yours is a good one.
