Didn’t we just start February? Sigh. It seems like that evaporated on me too. so much to do, so little time to do it. Still, things are getting done. The fifteen minute novel is chugging along. Forged, the novel in progress has fits and starts, mostly because I realized I had a gap in my story line that I didn’t see until I started writing. And The Academy, the sequel to Nameless is really flying. he writing for that is going well so it is nice to have the words flowing somewhere. Still that isn’t really the point of the post is it? Nope. the point of the post is to look at the prompts we will be working with next week as February comes to a close.
Monday, February 28th: He felt chilled to the bone.
Tuesday, March 1st: From the top of the ridge, he could see for miles.
Wednesday, March 2nd: The feast was glorious.
Thursday, March 3rd: The pillow exploded in a spray of white feathers.
Friday, March 4th: Herman looked very pleased with himself.
So there we have them. Let’s hope March roars in like a lion, writing wise at least. As always I hope you will write along with me. Of course you can shake them up into whatever order you want or pick and choose. A word about the picking and choosing though. I generally find the best writing I do for these prompts is for the sentences that I wouldn’t normally have chosen for myself if I had a choice. Its like story telling. Sometimes the best stories come from the tales we don’t want to tell.
And with that i will leave you to begin your Friday. For subscribers Chapter 8 from The Ties that Bind will be up later today as will Forged. My day tumbled out of control yesterday so there was no posting of Forged. Mostly because I didn’t get my one hour writing time. I should have a quiet afternoon though so I am hoping to sneak an extra hour in later today. But don’t tell anyone, or I fear my quiet afternoon will not be quite so quiet. So it’s our little secret.
