May evaporated and I am behind on almost all of my scheduling. But you know what? I am very happy to see the back of May. I am actually beyond thrilled to have May end and June begin. In fact quite honestly I never want to think about May of 2022 ever again. But I am hopeful for June. June will be a good month. I have declared it. And yes I know the universe has a habit of ignoring me, but that is alright. I am going to go into June believing that it is going to be a spectacular month and if by sheer force of will I can will it to be, it will be.
So let’s look at the prompts that we are going to use to shake off the dust of May and spring into our lovely, hopefully fabulous June.
Monday, May 30th: The air smelled of maple syrup and warm melted butter.
Tuesday, May 31st: The dance was scheduled for the third.
Wednesday, June 1st: No, no, no this is all wrong.
Thursday, June 2nd: It became the standard.
Friday, June 3rd: Three pages were missing.
Not too shabby. Kind of interesting sentences to start stories with. Hopefully they will lead to something magnificent. For now though I am going to forget they exist so that I can come to them fresh next week. I’ll see you back her at the start of the week to kick out the last of May and step into June. Have a great weekend.
