Is it me or can you start to see the end of June from here? This month is evaporating fast. Or maybe it is because my to do list is still so long. Either way, we have another week’s worth of prompts to line up for the following week. I hope you’re excited. So ready for the reveal?
Drum roll please.
Monday, June 20th: “I can’t believe this was what you came up with.
Tuesday, June 21st: It is a classic for a reason.
Wednesday, June 22nd: I was dreading the meeting.
Thursday, June 23rd: They were having fun.
Friday, June 24th: We handled the crisis really well.
Ta Da!
well maybe it isn’t applause worthy, but I think there are some good looking sentences in there that might blossom into stories. This wee we had a few of those. They weren’t the sort that hooked me even while I was writing them, but i have noticed that when I flip back through the prompts at the end of the year (or close to it, looking for the next year’s fifteen minute novel if nothing else, some of those that I was blasé about fairly leap off the page, their stories finally emerging, at least in the back of my mind. So exciting or not, I think this past week ended up with some things I will definitely work with later on. Not as fun as instant excitement, but good nonetheless. And now we must push on with Friday and forget next week’s prompts exist. I’ll see you back here Monday with the first of them.
