I have to say this was a good week for me. Most of the week I had setting on my mind when I turned to the prompts, but we seemed to have ended on a mysterious monster of the deep drawn out of an alien lake to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting. I think that means my brain is back to normal. Well normal for me I suppose. Not entirely sure what that says about me, but I’ll let it go for now. So who want’s to see what we will be looking at for next week’s prompts?
I’ll assume at least a couple of hands went up in the back. So…
Monday, August 22nd: Moralists strived to influence prevailing social attitudes.
Tuesday, August 23rd: The gold shimmered wherever he turned.
Wednesday, August 24th: It was a once in a lifetime chance.
Thursday, August 25th: He dreamed of joining their ranks.
Friday, August 26th: The burn throbbed.
Interesting mix. I have to say written like that all on the page instead of in a calendar each one on a separate day, it kind of amuses me that the sentences get shorter throughout the week in a stair step pattern. I don’t know why that amuses me, it just does. Some mornings I am easy. But for now, we will forget they are there and come back to the longest step on Monday and descend through the sentences throughout the week. I’ll see you there.
