I’d say it seems like August flew by but in parts it has seemed interminable. And I am honestly so ready for this brutal summer to end that I am welcoming September with open arms. I always like the fall in general, but I never had anything against summer. This summer felt like it was against me and I think I would like to see the back of it. So it is with great joy that I introduce next week’s writing prompts, including two from the beginning of September.
Monday, August 29th: He consulted the primary sources.
Tuesday, August 30th: There was still a lot of tension.
Wednesday, August 31st: There were platters of flatbread and the air was redolent with spices.
Thursday, September 1st:”Oh yes, he was a real person.”
Friday, September 2nd: There are two parts to the challenge.
There we go and I actually can’t wait to wrap my brain around this lot. I’m also hoping that my invoking the month of September autumnal weather will soon be on the way. Less like a magic spell and more like a hint to summer that it has overstayed it’s welcome. one can only hope. Have a great Friday everyone and I’ll see you back here bright and early Monday morning.
