Ah another week down. The week after Thanksgiving is always a rough one for me. I’d like to blame the turkey but I think it is more the schedule disruption and the feeling that the time after thanksgiving is just the brief lull before Christmas and New Years. While the next couple of weeks may be a bit on the normal side, there will be a whole lot of non-routine between now and New Years so there is always the warring thoughts of how much can we get done before the next spate of time off and the why can’t we just take all of December off?
One thing I am doing this December is recalibrating my schedule for 2023. I tried doing things as I have done them for the past few years this year, but the truth is sections of my life shifted and a recalibration is needed. I am working on some plans and a new schedule and hope to have it ready before Christmas. I’ll keep you posted. But until then, there are the regularly scheduled prompts. Monday, December 5th: Are we lost?
Tuesday, December 6th: The windshield wipers swished across the glass.
Wednesday, December 7th: This is my assistant.
Thursday, December 8th: I forgot my cardigan.
Friday, December 9th: The thump came from the outside.
Kind of a mixed bag. A couple of short sentences and some longer ones. I tend to think differently when I start with a short sentence than I do with a long one for some reason. So I am happy with the mix. Regardless I am going to forget they are there until Monday. I suggest you do the same and then we can all start fresh next week. I’ll see you then.
