well it looks like we made it through the first week of January. Everyone still doing okay? It was interesting for me. All of the calamities were weather related and minor enough that calamities is a bit of a stretch. And mostly it involved, rain flooding and curiosity about Ark building.
In case you are wondering I did end up googling a cubit. On the off chance i did decide that Ark building was a thing for me. Apparently one cubit is 42-48 cm. I don’t know why I thought it was bigger. I think it is because when i think ‘cubit’ i think ‘ark’ and then i think of a giant boat that dwarfs the elephants being loaded up the gangplank.
I’m not entirely sure why my brain always insists on having the elephants boarding first. I don’t think they were granted VIP seating, they just always seem to be at the head of my mental line. And for those of you wondering circus bears on unicycles wearing little Fez hats come next. Every time. I suspect there is some long forgotten childhood bedroom décor item to blame. Mostly because I don’t recall any of my Sunday school teachers mentioning unicycles. Still you didn’t come here to untangle my brain, but at least you now know what a cubit is.
Shall we look at next week’s prompts?
Monday, January 9th: Do you remember anything?
Tuesday, January 10th: It was burnt.
Wednesday, January 11th: No one understood.
Thursday, January 12th: The gray stone wall was half tumbled.
Friday, January 13th: It rained for three days.
Well my my don’t those look interesting. And it looks like we have a Friday the 13th coming up as well. Anyone up for a Friday Night slasher film marathon? I have a weakness for them actually. I will say I do tend to lean more towards Wishmaster and Hellraiser than I do Friday the 13th. I adore Nightmare on Elm Street. Which really just puts Jason at number four. So still top five. Perhaps tonight will be a movie marathon of slasher flick dimensions. Could be fun. But for now it is on with the Friday work load. Have a great one everyone.
