Good morning everyone and welcome to Friday the thirteenth. Mwahahaha. Although actually it feels more like icy roads might be more of a danger than anyone in a hockey mask. The rains yesterday made everything slick and the plummeting temps today just made everything glazed and shiny. It is one of those days where if you don’t have to leave the house, it might be best for all if you just didn’t. But whatever you do today, or this weekend, here are some lovely prompts to look forward to in the week to come. Are you ready to see what they are?
Monday, January 16th: Dinner was served at exactly six o’clock.
Tuesday, January 17th: It was sinking.
Wednesday, January 18th: The flag snapped in the wind.
Thursday, January 19th: How long will it be?
Friday, January 20th: It was hot.
Aren’t those an odd lot of sentences. I think the last one might require a stretch of the imagination at this time of year, but these are designed to stretch the imagination and get you writing everyday so I suppose it is fair. As always I choose these randomly and just assign the sentence to the day as it comes up. There is no actual attempt at a theme or a unity. Occasionally it will seem as though there is but that is really just left up to the person writing and not the sentence. Regardless these are the sentences we will be using to jump start stories next week. For now, I am going to forget them completely so that I can come to them fresh later. Have an excellent Friday and I will see you back here bright and early Monday Morning.
