I know I’ve mentioned it before that some how it feels all neat and tidy when a month ends on a Friday. I feel just the same when a month starts on a Monday. No clue why but it looks like May will start on a Monday, making this the list of prompts for the last week of April. This month did zoom by didn’t it? I think that was because it was not only a month with thirty days but there was a holiday in it. I have the same issue with November. Although as all my mail was late this month it seems I am not the only one who ran out of month. Still this is the week that will put April in the books so to speak. Shall we see what prompts we’ll be using to finish out the month?
Monday, April 24th: The engines rumbled.
Tuesday, April 25th: And what will that cost me?
Wednesday, April 26th: The celebration had been going on for hours.
Thursday, April 27: The island was isolated.
Friday, April 28th: The grill was red hot.
Now that is an mix of sentences isn’t it? I love when the week’s bounce around like that. short sentences, longer ones, conversational starters and flat declarations. All sorts of story bits to fiddle about with. But that will wait for next week. For now, we forget the prompts and let them sit for the weekend, coming back fresh bright and early Monday morning.
