Upcoming Prompts for the week of July 24th-28th, 2023

The last week of July has arrived. Can you believe it? Well i can actually. This month has seemed to drag on. There were just so many events going down this month it sort of felt like six months compacted. Next week I will be going down to stay with my mother. I tend to get up a little early while I am there and do my writing prompts in the morning before anyone is awake. It really helps settle my brain down and if I don’t do them I tend to feel like I’ve forgotten something for the rest of the day. It shouldn’t be a problem writing them and getting them posted, but as always when you are working in a space that is not your own, things happen. So if I end up MIA for any morning next week you know what happened.

But here are the prompts that we are going to look at. it is the plan to get them all done and I am fairly confident I will succeed. So…

Monday, July 24th: The disappointment weighed heavily.

Tuesday, July 25th: He smiled and tilted his face to the sun.

Wednesday, July 26th: The milk was expired.

Thursday, July 27th: The doorbell rang.

Friday, July 28th: Use your fear to drive you forward.

Aren’t those a bit of interesting. I can’t wait to see what becomes of them. But for now, they will remain simple sentences waiting for their time to blossom into storylines and send characters out into the world. Have a good weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday with the first of the list.
