Next week is mid August? How is it that July seemed to last forever and August is evaporating? Usually the dog days of August seem never ending as well. But I suppose the month is just chugging along. So much to do, maybe that is why it seems to be blazing past. Or maybe I am just feeling grumpy this morning and need something to focus the grump on. Its the allergies. Pollen is sky high again and because of the recent rains mold is up too for a double whammy. But soon the antihistamine will kick in and all will be well. Or better. So lets see what prompts we will be working with next week.
Monday, August 14th: The air smelled Lightning charged.
Tuesday, August 15th: The rocks were worn smooth from the water.
Wednesday, August 16th: She hefted the axe and rested it on her shoulder.
Thursday, August 17th: The day was just beginning.
Friday, August 18th: Mist snaked through the trees.
I like this list. They are mostly setting teasers which are always nice. They kind of jump my brain to a place with a visual and then let me figure out the story. Or sometimes develop a setting. since this week seemed to end up with more characters than story lines, it will be nice if next week was settings or story lines. It’s nice to change it up. But for now, I am going to forget all of them and not remember they exist until Monday. I hope you do the same and I will see you back her bright and early with the first of them. No snooze button, hopefully. Have a great Friday.
