And so September arrives. At least this morning felt a little bit like fall. Or at least not unbearably hot and stifling. I swear for the past week it was like the heat and humidity settled into your lungs with each breath weighing you down from the inside. Just being able to go outside and breathe feels amazing.
However it is an indoor activity we need to look at. Unless you want to write outside, which I usually do when the weather starts to cool down. which reminds me I need to clean off the table on the back patio. i used it to repot plants with as it was too hot to actually work or read or do anything else outside. I like taking my laptop there once the sun isn’t sizzling so i have some clean up to do. But first there are next week’s prompts.
Monday, September 4th: It was a game they played for years.
Tuesday, September 5th: I’m asking you.
Wednesday, September 6th: She saw their approach from a long way off.
Thursday, September 7th: The castle was considered impregnable.
Friday, September 8th: Flowers dotted the field with little splashes of color.
An interesting mix and sure to become more interesting as we all start writing. But for now we will just leave them there and go about our day. I hope your Friday is a fabulous one with an amazing labor day weekend beyond. Have a good one.
