Upcoming Prompts for the Week of October 2nd -6th, 2023

Oh yes. October is on the doorstep. This weekend we are actually pulling the last of the summer plants out of the garden. I know, fall garden chores should have been done a month ago but the garden was still producing and it was too hot. Now the plants are finished and the garden can be reset for winter. all I am planting this fall is garlic because I adore the fresh spring garlic. And as I was still getting tomatoes last year as October started I think the fall garden chores have shifted. But no matter. October is soon to start and that means that fall is official.

It honestly felt as though it would never come.

But that is not the point of this post. The point is to see the prompts we will be working with next week. So…

Monday, October 2nd: The drawers were all empty.

Tuesday, October 3rd: He dipped his hand into the water.

Wednesday, October 4th: She picked up the lipstick and painted her lips a bloody murder red.

Thursday, October 5th: He didn’t like to stay in one place too long.

Friday, October 6th: The deal fell through at the last minute.

Don’t those look lovely? And next week I should be a little more used to waking up in the dark so who knows, I might get back on schedule. Maybe. I might just shift the schedule until November. And yes, I know this happens every year. I also end up mentally trying to figure out exactly how much gas/electric getting up in the dark saves (the original reason for settling the time change although now I believe it is to help out retail.) But my weird math aside, happy Friday everyone.
