Good morning everyone. This no sun when I wake has really thrown me for a loop. I also think there were far more late nights this week than I planned. Nothing fun of course, just insomnia. It is an old friend I dearly wish would lose touch. There are many people I would far prefer to deal with. But I suspect it is always going to be a frequent visitor.
Still over all the week wasn’t bad. It was nice settling back in after being gone a week and actually writing at my desk instead of wherever I could put my laptop. Admittedly none of the prompts done this week really grabbed me. So let’s see what next week’s prompts will bring. Hopefully they will end up with hooks on them.
Monday, October 23rd: Did you hear that noise?
Tuesday, October 24th: The dress fit perfectly.
Wednesday, October 25th: The dog growled at the empty stairwell.
Thursday, October 26th: You must tell me everything.
Friday, October 27th: The heat was intense.
Hopefully these will provide story lines that sink hooks into my brain. Even if they don’t they are still useful in getting my brain shifted into a writing mode, so that is something. For now though they mist be forgotten so I don’t overthink them before I write them. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here Monday for the first of them.
