Upcoming prompts for the week of October 30th-November 3rd, 2023

Wow the last of this year is slipping by fast. In fact this week went by incredibly fast as well. I think it partially because I got pulled into a project and didn’t really come up for air much. Which I can’t lie, I love it when that happens. when the plot works with out any hiccups and the characters seem to fit with your plans it is a good thing. I’m sure they will rebel at some point, they always do, but for now, it works.

And I got two stories I want to work on out of this week’s prompts. I know that isn’t the point. The point is to not only get into the habit of writing every day regardless of whether i want to or not so i build the habit. Of course now not only do I have the habit but I start to get a bit twitchy when I don’t write. And by the time I have written the fifteen minute prompt my brain has shifted into writing mode no matter where it was before. Plus I often get good stories to think about working on later. So sort of a win all around.

Let’s see what next week will bring us, shall we?

Monday, October 30th: Rice fell out of the hole in the bag, hitting the counter like hard rain.

Tuesday, October 31st: He coughed.

Wednesday, November 1st: The rustling of the bag was loud.

Thursday, November 2nd: He ambled down the street.

Friday, November 3rd: The last step was missing.

an interesting collection of sentences. I like that several of them have sounds attached to them. I like looking at senses other than sight sometimes. But for now I will forget all about them so I can come at them fresh next week. I hope you do the same. I’ll see you back here bright and early Monday morning and we shall see how those sentences turn out. Have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend.
