Upcoming Prompts for the Week of December 4th-8th, 2023

Another week down and so we enter the final month of the year. I think I realized this fully when writing the fifteen minute novel this morning. I noticed spots where I want to put more details, but instead skipped so I can get try to get the major plot points in. I suspect there will be a lot of detail added in my first edit. I suspect there will be trails and tribulations added to both her journey out and her journey back a well as the small discomforts of traveling in the wilderness. My document is bristling with notes in the comment sections from everything to wildlife and blisters on her feet as well as boredom with travel rations. It is odd to skip so many details, but I know it is because it is December and while I will continue this story until it is written, it won’t be the one posted in the new year. Mostly because It will be paired with Marcus and I need to go back and write his sections and weave them into her travel.

So that’s where that is. Now for the prompts you likely clicked on this post to find.

Monday, December 4th: He stretched out on the bed.

Tuesday, December 5th: Eyes glittered in the shadows.

Wednesday, December 6th: She hauled the crab pot into the boat.

Thursday, December 7th: Vultures were circling.

Friday, December 8th: I felt good about today.

Some interesting ones to play with. But for now I will be forgetting all about them until Monday. Instead I am going to pour myself a cup of coffee and get into my writing for the day while the rain pours down outside. Have a good one!
