Upcoming Prompts for the Week of December 11th-15th, 2023

December has been flying by hasn’t it. I think it feels that way because there are so many little tasks to do that are just a bit extra. Most of them deal with prepping the house for Christmas and gift buying. This year since it didn’t really feel like fall until late there were a lot of fall chores that got pushed back so I think that helps with the speed of the month. days always seem to disappear when I have too much to do. \

But here we are approaching mid month. It is December though so that means we are also rapidly running out of year. Personally I will be very happy to see the end of 2023. I’m not even hoping for a good 2024 at this point all I want is a 2024 with no family deaths or potentially terminal illnesses. If we can manage that I will consider 2024 a success. I wrote far too many eulogies in 2023. Even one is too many for 2024.

But before we get there we still have a few more weeks of 2023 so let’s get to it.

Monday, December 11th, Day 246: The heights were dizzying.

Tuesday, December 12th, Day 247: Shots were fired.

Wednesday, December 13th, Day 248: Temperatures dropped in the night.

Thursday, December 14th, Day 249: The guilt weighed him down.

Friday, December 15th, Day 250” Gold glimmered.

Those look like they could lead to some potentially interesting stories. I can’t wait to start on on them but alas each prompt must wait it’s turn. Next week will be soon enough. For now, they must be forgotten. So I will see you back here bright and early (ish) Monday morning to see what turns up. Until then, have a fabulous Friday and an excellent weekend.
