January is just chugging along isn’t it. I had to say this as I don’t want to jinx it, but thus far this month is going pretty well for me. Don’t worry I am not foolish enough to proclaim any thing for the year as a whole. I plan to tip toe quietly into this year as though not waking any sleeping beasts. And I would appreciate it if everyone out there would refrain from declaring it to be ‘their year’. I am all for positivity and affirmations but I am hoping for a calm and ultimately forgettable year. I want to look back in 20 years and say, 2024 yeah, nothing really happened that year.
It is a small goal, but it is kind of what I am hoping for after the last few years of crazy.
Having said that, this has been a nice calm and steady month and I am just going to hope that continues. So let’s see what prompts we have coming up shall we?
Monday, January 15th: The wind howled.
Tuesday, January 16th: One of my socks was missing.
Wednesday, January 17th: Everything looked somehow different.
Thursday, January 18th: They gathered around the dining table.
Friday, January 19th: She twisted the chain of her necklace between her fingers.
Nice. Hopefully they will suck up all the drama in the atmosphere and we can all get some good stories or characters possibly even settings out of them. Even if we don’t they are still useful for clearing a nd settling the mind. And with that i will leave you to get on with my regularly scheduled day.
