And like a whoosh there goes the last of February. In this I am not surprised, February always goes so fast. It is just the curse of the short month. Of course it was a short month filled with events. In addition to all of the other things going on I started the early spring seeds in my little green house. They need at least eight weeks of growth before being sent outside after the last frost. I always feel so grand when I call it a green house. It is a plastic bookshelf with a plastic raincoat. It is officially a greenhouse and t works well, deserving the name. But calling it a green house seems like putting on airs.
Starting the seeds makes me think it is spring, but alas, we are far from it. The gray and rainy winter continues. But the seeds for spring are stating to sprout. Let’s see the prompts that will tke us through the end of February and into March…
Monday, February 26th: His hair stood up in rough spikes.
Tuesday, February 27th: Empty boxes littered the floor.
Wednesday, February 28th: There was a trapdoor in the floor.
Thursday, February 29th: The lights flickered.
Friday, March 1st: It was a Wednesday.
And so we have our prompts for the upcoming week. I am going to forget all about them and I suggest you do the same until next week. For now, have a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend.
