Upcoming Prompts for the Week of April 8th-12th, 2024

Okay, deep breath. We have tackled the first week of April. The post Easter writing prompts. We had a rather large lamb shoulder we roasted for the holiday so this week has featured many lamb sandwiches. They were delicious, but it keeps the holiday alive a bit longer. I’d say that is the reason my sleep has been so strange, except that I usually sleep well with lamb. I think it is more of a result of lean protein than potential counting, in case you were wondering. This week sleep was just very elusive and I could pretty much feel it all week. But this week is over and hopefully there will be a weekend reset and next week my insomnia might take a little bit of a break. One can always hope.

Shall we look at next week’s prompts?

Monday, April 8th: He waited in the car.

Tuesday, April 9th: Night was approaching.

Wednesday, April 10th: Tears streamed down his face.

Thursday, April 11th: We need to leave now.

Friday, April 12th: The stench was intense.

Well, that looks like it could be an interesting list. Of course even when it isn’t an interesting list, it wakes my brain up. But now, I am going to continue sipping my coffee and jump back into this morning’s prompt. I left a fortuneteller with a knife in her back. I need to know what comes next. And so, I am off to write whatever comes next. I will forget all about the above prompts until next week. Then we will see if any of them turn into something more. Until then, it is me and the fortune teller with a knife in her back. Have a great Friday!
