I hate summer colds. Having a fever and a snifflely nose when the sun is baking hot. It feels vaguely like the universe is mocking me. And yes I am vey much looking forward to spending the weekend curled up under a mound of blankets and pretending it is January outside instead of July. On a positive note both the paperback and hardback for Born of Sugar and Spice are now out and available for purchase. I am rather thrilled.
But we are here for the upcoming prompts so without further ado…
Monday, July 29th: The dust storm was approaching.
Tuesday, July 30th: Puffy clouds floated across the sky.
Wednesday, July 31st: The grass looked unnaturally green.
Thursday, August 1st: He followed the trail for as long as he could.
Friday, August 2nd: The silence was ominous.
Hard to believe we are rolling into August with this lot isn’t it? Well for now we shall let them sit and return to them bright and early next week. I am hoping that I will be a little more bright next week. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. I am off for cold medicine and a three day snooze.
