Hi everyone! In between releasing the main books from the Lost Princess Series I will be releasing Novella’s from the world of the Lost Princess. Mostly because ass I was writing the books there were all sorts of side stories that wanted to come out. A few are mentioned in passing, but were too long to tell in a flash back and too interesting not to tell all together.

Today the first of those novellas is being released. It is Rinaldo’s Quest, now available on both Amazon and Smashwords. In Born of Sugar and Spice an older character named Rinaldo mentions going on a quest when he was younger. This is that quest.
As with everything in this series it takes bits from traditional fairytales and bends them just a bit out of shape. Quite honestly I had a lot of fun writing this one.
It is designed to be read alone so you don’t have to have read Book One in the Series (or any future ones) for it to make sense. As the main story line takes place quite a few years after this story (a common theme with most of the novellas actually) there are bits that will appear later. Much as Rinaldo going on a quest was mentioned in passing in the first book. It won’t spoil anything in later book an doesn’t need to be read to understand future ones. It is more just a deeper peek into the back story.
Rinaldo’s Quest is a Fun Little romp through a fairytale world and I hope you enjoy it.
Rinaldo’s Quest
Available on Amazon and Smashwords
Magic in the Kingdoms of the Chadon operates on a very strict set of rules., Quests especially have guidelines and protocols. When King Harold sets up a quest for his daughter Georgina he expects those rules to be followed, the protocols holding firm. With them in place, he knows no quester will be seriously harmed and that the prince he already selected to win the contest will be triumphant. Unfortunately, questers start dying. It appears the sorcerer in charge of the quest has gone mad. In a panic Harold calls for help. The neighboring kingdom of Theras is worried about the damage a mad sorcerer could do and King Sigmund sends his middle son, Rinaldo to investigate and bring an end to the madness.
Set in the world of the Lost Princess, we see Rinaldo as a much younger man in a series of events that has far reaching consequences.
