Ah a new month has arrived, can you smell it? For November is smells suspiciously of Christmas instead of thanksgiving. I understand why the retailers squish everything together but this year I started getting notices about holiday things in September. Seriously, I love my candy cane and Egg nog scented bath products, but not on September 6th. Happy to know they are available. But September does not need Egg Nog anything. If Christmas has to Take over Thanksgiving I will grumble but you gotta at least get past back to school and let Halloween have it’s day before you tackle Christmas.
Not that my opinion counts, but there you go. Let’s look at the upcoming prompts. Which for the record smell like rosemary and sage.
Monday, November 4th: I woke to the sound of Frank Sinatra.
Tuesday, November 5th: He waited nervously for their reaction.
Wednesday, November 6th: The process is ongoing.
Thursday, November 7th: The migration had begun.
Friday, November 8th: Light seeped around the closed door.
And there we have it. Next week’s prompts. And now I need to go take Mr. Jack-o-lantern to the compost bin. He did his duty and made it through the night, barely. And now, it is time to say good bye. He lasts longer in the cold October’s but this year was not kind to him. And November has begun.
