Morning all, Time for the Thursday event. Whether you are looking for insight into a character, a way to introduce a new realization to someone wrestling with a problem, direct a sleuth to a clue or show a twist to the culture of your world, events are a really good way to shake characters out of the norm.
Today’s Even: A School Fair
Whether it is the kind that has a dunking booth or the one that gives prizes for scientific research or something completely different it is a good place to put a character. Lots of things to spark ideas in a befuddled sleuth, lots of emotions arising from someone who wants desperately to win. Or who is having memories of long ago school days. Figure out whose perspective you want to use and he best way to use the event to your advantage and have fun with it.
