Good morning everyone. It is time to get emotional. This year we are taking Tuesday to work on descriptions of various emotional states. As always there is only one rule, don’t use the word naming he emotion in your writing. You need to show the emotional state in whatever character you are writing. Ah yes, the show don’t tell. And this one is deceptively difficult, at least for me. I know I am going to have to think about my character a bit before actually writing this one as it is more character specific than many other emotions. What is this emotion you ask? Well…

That’s write show how your character is content. It is a lot less showy than other emptions and as I mentioned specific to the character. I’m going to need a bit of a think before I do this one. But whether you jump in or mull it around a bit, as always, happy writing.
