Good morning my writing companions. It is time for another event. Events can shake a person out of their daily rut and show readers new sides of the character. They can also provide clues to a mystery or a thought the main character might not have had. This is a fun one today.
Today’s Event: A lecture
It could be a professional lecture that your character has to either attend or give. It could be a dressing down lecture that your character has to receive, deliver or simply observe. You can make it any kind of lecture you want, but in the scenario you create, make it mean something. It can show a vindictive streak or compassion. It can show a command of a subject or a clue to a mystery. However you play it, use the event to get something out of your scene and characters that you couldn’t get in another setting.
