Here is a fun event. I expect it is probably more an occurrence but it likely doesn’t happen more than a couple of times in anyone’s life. But I could be wrong.
Today’s Event: An Oil Strike
As I wrote that I was thinking of a strike as in finding oil. The delight and joy in finding it, the sheer astonishment of watching it shoot out of the ground as well as the greed and nastiness that could follow. But then I thought of a strike in terms of labor movements. As in on strike. Maybe oil workers are on strike.
Either option is out there to use, or if you find a third one feel free to use that. The point is to get something that is out of someone’s everyday life and use the oddness of it to show them or their worlds in a different light. Have fun with it and Happy Writing.
