Upcoming Prompts for June 2nd – 6th, 2025

And so May comes to a close and June begins. Technically we have one more day of May but it is a Saturday and does not figure into the morning prompts. I think we can officially say summer has begun. It is cooler today but rapidly becoming steamy. Which is actually on trend for the past two summers. While the humidity will remain by the end of June we will all be steaming in our own juices so to speak so I will take the cooler days.

Shall we take a look at the prompts to start off the month?

Monday, June 2nd: The drawbridge was down.

Tuesday, June 3rd: The chocolate box was open.

Wednesday, June 4th: The lawn was overgrown.

Thursday, June 5th: Dinner was served.

Friday, June 6th: Bring him to me.

I kind of like that after a week of prompts starting as conversational starters or thoughts we have one with mostly simple declarative sentences. They can be powerful things when used correctly, those simple declarative sentences. They also leave interesting room for stories. I suppose we will see how they all turn out next week. For now though, I hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend beyond. See you Monday.
