Good morning everyone it is time to practice our showing and not telling skills. That’s wright it is time to get emotional. Or to show that one of our characters is emotional anyway. As always the type of writing is entirely up to you. The only rule to this exercise is that you can’t name the emotion. And what is today’s emotional state?
Today’s Emotion: Distant
I am going to have to think about that one. It does seem like it would pair with actions well so I might have to show interactions more than just describing a singular person. But I will say no more lest I influence your exercise. As always, happy writing.
