It is time once again to put on our show don’t tell hats and focus on a specific emption. We can use all of our senses, create conversations or any other scene that best shows the emption. The one thing we can’t do in the piece of writing is name the emotion. So without further ado…
Today’s Emotion: Trapped
Think about all the ways someone can feel trapped. Then as the exercise implies, show it without saying they feel trapped. This is a fun one. So many ways you can circle thoughts around. Take as long as you want and write it however you want. Just don’t say the character is trapped. As always, happy writing.
