Good morning everyone are you ready to stretch those vocabularies? This morning we have the fife word challenge, five words you have to use in a piece of writing (if you are doing the exercise that is). It can be any piece of writing you choose and you can use the words in any way you want. I will put them below with the definitions underneath to hopefully spark thoughts in your brains. I know mine is still sleepy so I certainly need them. Just remember to use all five words.
Today’s words: Mixture, Bowl, Remittance, Apoplectic, Cellar
Mixture: noun a substance made by mixing other substances together. the process of mixing or being mixed. a combination of different qualities, things, or emotions in which the component elements are individually distinct.
Bowl: noun 1.a round, deep dish or basin used for food or liquid.2. Geography a natural basin.
Remittance: noun a sum of money sent, especially by mail, in payment for goods or services or as a gift. the action of sending money in payment.
Apoplectic: adjective informal overcome with anger; extremely indignant .dated: relating to or denoting apoplexy (stroke).
Cellar: noun a room below ground level in a house, typically one used for storing wine or coal. verb store (wine) in a cellar.
