Once again it is time to get emotional with our show don’t tell. As always the only rule is that you can not mention the name of the emotion as you write. You must show how that emotion manifests itself. Use body language, tone, facial expressions and word choices in conversation. Just don’t name the emotion.
Today’s Emotion: Confident
Is it shown in a walk or the way they stand? Is it contrasted with anyone else? Present in their word choices as they hold a conversation? That is for you to decide. Concentrate on the motion and how it is embodied and then go for it. As always, happy writing.
