It is time once again for the event of the week. A time where you can have your characters step out of their ordinary life. It can kick off an adventure, provide a vital clue or simply show a side of your character or a memory they have in a way that you couldn’t show otherwise. How you use the event it up to you. And today’s is an interesting one.
Today’s Event: A pie eating contest
So many perspectives. Is your character participating, watching, providing the pies. Are they the sponsor looking for publicity. Are they the baker who hates seeing their baked creations so demolished instead of savored and enjoyed. People can be thrilled or disgusted. They can also be both at the same time depending on why they are involved. Such a kaleidoscope of possibilities. Have fun with it and as always, happy writing.
