Welcome back to the event prompt of the week. Here we take something that is out of a character’s ordinary day to day life and see what can shake out. Will they be uncomfortable? Will secrets be revealed or revelations realized? Will they meet someone they might not otherwise have come into contact with thus sparking an idea and charting a course for our protagonist? All delightful possibilities. So let’s see what event we have today.
Today’s Event: The First Exercise Class
I like this one as there are so many angles. Is it the first exercise class after an accident? Is the person attending trying to get into shape for something else like fitting into a dress at a wedding or tackling a triathlon? Is the person teaching and this is their first class at this new studio? Or the first time someone has ever contemplated exercise? They could even be a a PI taking the class as a means to watch a mark. Let your imagination go and as always, happy writing.
