Would you look at that, the last full week of September is upon us. Which is why my neighborhood is now covered with fake spider webs and dancing skeletons. Admittedly thee were a few people who hauled out their Halloween décor as soon as the intense summer heat broke. I think it was sort of talisman like. As though if they brought out the decorations the heat would not return. Similar to warding off the evil eye but with more animatronics.
Next weekend we will be carving pumpkins. They will probably rot before Halloween and be replaced mid month because it may not be summer hot but it isn’t pumpkin preserving cold just yet either. But I don’t mind carving pumpkins twice. Especially since the rotten ones just go into my compost bin. But for now, let’s take a look at next week’s prompts.
Monday, September 22nd: She wheezed.
Tuesday, September 23rd: It was clear this was a mistake.
Wednesday, September 24th: It is a multimillion-dollar campaign.
Thursday, September 25th: I knew you would never believe me.
Friday, September 26th: Lights danced in the sky.
And there we have it, the upcoming prompts. For now we let them sit. Then we can all come at them fresh. For now have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend beyond.
