Good morning everyone it is time for our event of the week. Here we take our characters out of their everyday ordinary activities and place them in an activity that is unusual for them. It could be a holiday or it could be just an activity they don’t participate in every day. Regardless it gives you the opportunity to shake things up a little and maybe see a side of your character you might not have seen otherwise. Sometimes this can be part of a longer story. Or if you want to work with a character from your story a bit just to see what makes them tick, you can pull them out of their story and drop them into a scene where this event is in action. Even if you don’t use the scene in your actual writing later, it can help you get into their mind and show how they view things. So before touching pen to paper, or keyboard to document, Think about how this can best be of use to you.
