Good morning everyone and welcome to the Friday writing exercise. Each week this is my favorite because it gives me a chance to step away from everything else and spin the little tidbits in the below scenario into a story idea. It is a nice break from what I am working on, although sometimes it ends up being incorporated into what I am working on. Or at least sparking new ideas. I like to think of it as the sugar crystals in a cotton candy machine. My brain being the machine that makes the cotton candy. Or story. Admittedly my internal machinery has been leaning towards murder mysteries lately. Not sure Murder Cotton Candy is a thing. Still we have our scenario. A few little story crystals you can take any way you would like.
Today’s Scenario: A teacher refuses to backdown for an entitled parent and the resulting fall out splits the community.
