Good morning everyone. It is Tuesday and you know that means it is time to get emotional with our morning exercise. As always the goal is to show the emotion rather than tell the reader what your characters are feeling. With that in mind, the one rule is you can’t name the emotion in the writing. It can be any type of writing you like. Engage all the senses you can, just don’t name the emotion.
Today’s Emotion: Troubled.
That’s a fun one to write. So many ways to show. Think it through, decide who is troubled and why as well as who is describing the emotion (POV) and then have fun with it. As always, Happy Writing.
