The 2026 Novel Writing Challenge: My Task #27

Morning everyone, today’s task is to write the three points of the Main Character’s Emotional arc. You can use as few words as you want or as many. I Find when I get stuck I use my character’s name and write feels after it. So mine would be Eloise feels… it helps me when I get stuck. Just remember, these aren’t things you will ever really need to show to anyone so it doesn’t have to be polished. If you want bullet points use them, if not, write a paragraph or even a few short words. You just need to put a pin in the map of how your character changes as they progress through the obstacles. And remember this is a broad sweep through so even though there will be highs and lows throughout these are just the general beginning middle and end points.
