Morning all, time to put some emotions into Act 1. I always have fun with this part. At first I think oh it is going to be a straightforward emotional arc, but then you realize that people are more complex than that and that there is back and forth to things as well as a lot of tangled feelings. For me it really helps to lay them out like this, even though I know some of the emotions will be mixing and mingling together when I write. That way when I go back through I have a reminder of what to add. For my character Eloise through out this Act she will not only be angry but she will feel stupid and used which are emotions that will tangle with the anger and inform her choices. But that is with the writing part, for now, it is just time to lay out the various bits.
