Morning all, time to think about when in the calendar year to set the story. I always find that once I set the calendar year and feel pretty good about it, little details pop up that I just want to add to the story in ways I hadn’t planned. For instance I know that there will be a mid winter feast my character is going to sneak in and attend. I marked it on my calendar, but I suspect in the next few days my brain will try and figure out what sort of dishes will be served at the feast and what other traditions go along with it. So while I have done the task today, it is one I will revisit to add to periodically as things percolate through my brain.
