The Writing Prompts for the week of October 5th – 9th

Each week I am going to be posting a list of the week’s writing prompts separately so that if you want to do the writing prompt without even the hope of seeing what I did with the sentence starter before you write you can. I love the way everyone always takes the sentence in a different direction. There are never any wrong or right ways so let your brain out to frolic.

And yes I am now picturing a brain bouncing through a field of poppies.

In the future I will post the upcoming week’s prompts on Friday, I just forgot to post this last Friday.

Monday, October 5th: The captain had no trouble raising men for the expedition.

Tuesday, October 6th: The target was too tempting to ignore.

Wednesday, October 7th: He ordered a round of drinks for the table.

Thursday, October 8th:  It had been raining for three days.

Friday, October 9th:  There was a certain logic to his pattern of employment.

Hope you enjoy. And feel free to share what direction your brain took you in the comments section if you did the writing prompt. I’d love to know.
