This week may have been short but I ended up with a couple of interesting writing prompts that I want to investigate further for possible stories. That’s not a bad return actually. I’m actually starting to look at prompts to think about for next year’s Fifteen Minute Novel. It always amazes me how many accumulate over the course of a year, and we are only in September so thee are a few more months to add to the pile. I found several prompts I completely forgot about and would love to break out into their own stories so it might actually be a difficult choice this December. It’s kind of a nice problem to have actually. I would much rather have way too many story ideas than too few. So with that in mind shall we look at the list of sentences that will hopefully spark even more story ideas?
Monday, September 12th: I wish you the best of luck.
Tuesday, September 13th: My expectations were low.
Wednesday, September 14th: It was with great reluctance that she turned away.
Thursday, September 15th: I feel safer already.
Friday, September 16th:I am so glad to see you.
I know I say this every week, but it continues to be true, don’t those look interesting? Like little bits of bait ready to dangle in the pond for stories to nibble. But for now, I shall ignore them and set the hooks to the side until Monday. then we will see what kind of stories these little sentences bring in. I can’t wait. See you bright and early for the first one. Have a great Friday.
