Monday, March 3rd: The Five Word Challenge

That’s right it is Monday once again and time to focus on words. I know I have said it before but I really like how this exercise forces me to use words I might not habitually use or to use familiar words in unfamiliar ways. That is why the full definitions of each are listed below. Most of the words are familiar to everyone, but seeing the actual definition can sometimes trigger a new way of looking at it. And so we have our five words. The challenge, to write something that includes all five of the words listed below. It can be any sort of writing you want. A poem, a short story, a eulogy for your pet hamsters Bernie, your call.
