Monday, May 5th: The Five Word Challenge

I’ll be honest, I am not at my best this early in the morning, but needs must. (we’ll go back to a normal schedule on the 19th)For now, we have five words to stretch our vocabulary. As always whatever you write has to include all five words and I have put the definitions below in the hopes that it will spark something. Happy Writing.

Today’s words: Lurch, Pucker, Strong, Growth, Striped

Lurch: verb make an abruptunsteadyuncontrolled movement or series of movements; stagger. noun an abrupt uncontrolled movement, especially an unsteady tilt or roll.

Pucker: verb (especially with reference to a person’s face) tightly gather or contract into wrinkles or small folds. nountightly gathered wrinkle or small fold, especially on a person’s face.

Strong; adjective 1.having the power to move heavy weights or perform other physically demanding tasks. 2. able to withstand great force or pressure.

Growth: noun 1.the process of increasing in physical size.2. something that has grown or is growing.

Striped: adjective marked with or having stripes.
