Morning all. Hope you are sticking to your schedule. We have another writing exercise focused on setting and description posted below for those looking to get in a bit more writing practice or to add details to your existing work.
Task #72 – Writing exercise – Pick a place, any place. Do you have it in your mind? Can you see what it looks like on a typical day? If not maybe use the place you described in the typical day writing exercise. Whatever the place is, it is festival time. Picture the place decked out for the celebration. Is it a religious festival where the statues of saints are paraded through the streets? Is it a Mardi Gras style festival with floats and Crewes throwing trinkets to the crowd? Is the festival held in the town center or is it held in a field just outside of town with people filling tents as well as local inns and hotels? The situation may change depending on the setting but fill the air with celebration of one sort or another and show how this particular place changes when it is time to celebrate.
